The redevelopment of the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport includes an ambitious plan for constructing a modern, 20,000 square metre passenger terminal. This new facility will replace outdated infrastructure through a series of demolitions and modifications, tailored to accommodate the projected increase in the number of passengers, expected to reach 2,000,000 after 2040, up from the current 600,000.

Our proposal features a state-of-the-art, self-sufficient terminal powered entirely by renewable energy sources for heating, cooling, and power supply. The facility will utilise a combination of ground-source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, and recuperation systems. These technologies, integrated with a highly efficient management system for ventilation, heating, and cooling, will significantly reduce the airport’s carbon footprint while ensuring optimal energy efficiency.

The new terminal is designed to span two floors. The ground level will include a 6-metre-high main hall with dedicated zones for check-in, security control, and baggage claim. The first floor will include retail shops, restaurants, and waiting areas conveniently located near the gates. Additionally, the project features upgrades of the surrounding external infrastructure, including car parks, driveways, lighting systems, and enhanced landscaping.

Airports serve as gateways to the regions they represent, and we believe that the new Szczecin-Goleniów terminal will become a flagship structure for the area. Its efficient, functional design, combined with anaesthetically appealing atmosphere, will significantly elevate the perception of the entire region.
