In April 2023, a building permit was issued for a project that is unique to our architectural studio, namely the revitalisation of a 19th-century historic tenement house located at Grunwaldzki Square in the core city centre of Szczecin.
After the war, an outpatient clinic operated in the building, while for the past 20 years the tenement house has remained idle.
The design by the Szczecin-based Dedeco envisages creating a building of a very high performance standard and restoring its historic luxurious residential function. In addition, a two-storey underground garage is planned in the regraded existing basement.
Intervention in the external structure of the building is going to be minimal, with the roof extension being the only new explicit design component.
