In the first quarter of 2022, a building located between Narutowicza and Langiewicza Streets in Szczecin and designed by the Szczecin team of the DEDECO Architectural Studio was put into use. It complemented the city’s historical urban structure at this part of the plot. This is the third and final stage of the Kamienica Nova Project. The frontage development consists of several sections with originally designed facades, which gives the building a diverse and modern character, while maintaining a coherent urban structure.
The building’s location in an attractive part of the city necessitated to apply a high performance standard. The facades feature large glazed surfaces and, from the backyard side, flats have access to balconies, loggias or internal gardens. The seven-storey building includes spacious studio and multiple-room flats, as well as commercial units. An underground garage provides parking spaces, storage units and a bicycle room. Residents may also enjoy an internal backyard with greenery, a playground and leisure facilities. The entire project harmoniously combines tradition with modernity, contributing to the attractive and functional development of this part of Szczecin.
Being the building contractor responsible for the implementation of the KAMIENICA NOVA III Project, Calbud was awarded the Second Degree Prize in the category CONSTRUCTION OF THE YEAR 2021.
